Our goal is to make the data from the UFDP available to the broadest possible community of researchers. As our effort is still in its early days, we are focusing our efforts on genuine research collaborations leading to co-authorship in peer reviewed publications. Collaborations that assist us with our existing program of field sampling and analysis are especially valued. Contact PI Jim Lutz to discuss access to data.
The UFDP data are stored on servers at the Smithsonian Center for Tropical Forest Science or available directly from PI Lutz.
Destructive sampling and manipulative research is not allowed within the UFDP, and generally any work in Cedar Breaks National Monument or the adjacent Dixie National Forest must comply with the requirements of research in wilderness.
